National Drought Mitigation Center

Current Projects

Engaging Preparedness Communities

This working group of the National Integrated Drought Information System fosters community and a sense of shared purpose among the individuals working in state agencies and other organizations across the country who plan for drought.

Climate Masters of Nebraska

The National Drought Mitigation Center is a partner in the Climate Masters of Nebraska program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, teaching citizens steps they can take to reduce their carbon footprint, and showing them ways to be active in the community.

Investigating the Role of Distrust in Unauthorized Online Activities Using an Integrated Sociotechnical Approach

The NDMC is a partner in a project led by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Public Policy Center. We are helping develop and facilitate in-class activities and testing the online tool that integrates social psychological theory into the project.
