The National Drought Mitigation Center (NDMC) is located at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our mission is to help people and institutions develop and implement measures to reduce societal vulnerability to drought. We do this by stressing prevention and risk management, rather than crisis management. Our products and partnerships include the Drought Monitor, for both the US and North America, and the Drought Impact Reporter.
