Dr. Donna Woudenberg, NDMC post-doc, is a co-investigator on a grant from NASA called Global Climate Change Literacy for Educators: Using On-Line Professional Development to Integrate Content and Pedagogy. Woudenberg will develop content related to climate change for four on-line education modules for middle and high school teachers. Researchers anticipate that they will reach at least 60 teachers, who will reach at least 3,000 students. A research action component will help spur action on climate change at the community level.
