Lauren, a junior in the School of Natural Resources from Omaha, Nebraska, is majoring in Environmental Studies and Fisheries and Wildlife. Through her Environmental Studies degree, she is also in a 4+1 program at UNMC for a Master’s of Public Health. For her NDMC internship Lauren does literature reviews, data analysis and survey development on the impacts of drought on outdoor recreation. When she is not working or studying she enjoys playing ultimate frisbie, and is on the UNL's women's club team for the sport. Lauren also enjoys hiking and camping, and has a goal of visiting all of the national parks.
