The NDMC has compiled an extensive set of national-scale drought monitoring resources. This information has been sorted by five topics as shown in the table below.
Climatological drought indicators, indices, and maps can be found under the Drought Indicators tab. All resources based on satellite-derived information have been grouped into the Remote Sensing tab. The Forecasts & Advisories tab contains resources related to weather, climate, water, and fire conditions and outlooks. Information about streamflows, groundwater, water quality, and other hydrological drought information can be found under the Water Resources tab. The Data tab provides links to a variety of climate data sets, maps, and resources.
