Apr 21, 2017
The April edition of Dry Horizons features the Center for Disease Control, which released ready-to-use drought datasets: The Palmer Drought Severity Index, the Standard Precipitation Index, and the Standard Precipitation and Evaportranspiration Index, computed for each county in the country by month, from 2000 to present. Access helps make drought analysis easier.

Also in this edition:
  • The Nature Conservancy touts precision agriculture; and
  • The NDMC is seeking help in shaping the next generation of drought tools.
