About Hasnat
Hasnat joined the National Drought Mitigation Center in August 2022 as a GIS Specialist II. He started his PhD at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Spring 2021 in Natural Resources Sciences with a specialization in climate assessment and impacts. Before joining UNL, Hasnat worked for the Punjab Agriculture Department as a GIS Analyst. He also previously served as a consultant in a private organization and worked as a researcher for the Disaster Management Authority and Planning and Development Department. His research interests include data analytics, spatial analysis, machine learning and hydrological and hydraulic modeling.
