About Mary

Mary Noel joined the National Drought Mitigation Center as a graduate student in 2017 where she developed state-level drought impact classification tables now hosted on the U.S. Drought Monitor website. She is currently involved a variety of projects including education and outreach, planning, and impact themes. An accomplished distance runner, with roots from Lincoln, Mary participated in Cross Country and Track & Field as a highly decorated NCAA Division I student-athlete.
