The National Drought Mitigation Center (NDMC) and Mike Hayes will design and deliver two two training workshops to environmental professionals from the Ute Tribe, Southern Ute Indian Tribe, and Ute Mountain Ute Tribe. The NDMC workshop will be virtual and cover climate and drought monitoring resources. Mike Hayes' workshop is expected to be in-person and assist the Tribes in using the climate and drought monitoring resources to develop a climate early warning system.
