NASA, the National Drought Mitigation Center, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (USA), the National Meteorological Agency (NMA) of Ethiopia, the Ethiopian Meteorological Society (EtMS), and Addis Ababa University (AAU), Ethiopia organized a workshop October 24-25, 2017, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia that brought together a variety of decision makers and/or their advisers, representing local, regional, and international organizations in the Great Horn of Africa.
